Shippon Dog is a self-watering plant which makes a wonderful gift idea.
The ceramic dog sits on the edge of the cup, with its fabric tail dangling in the water and a pot of soil and seeds resting on its back. The fabric tail soaks and transports water from the cup to the base of the pot, keeping the soil moist and seeds watered.
Over time, lush white clover grows from the dog’s back.
This is a cute kitty character who likes to drink through a straw. As it sips, water feeds the plant on its back. Just hang the kitty on the side of a glass and watch the seeds on its back grow!
The ceramic Shippon comes with a peat pellet in which to plant the seeds, a packet of white clover seeds and instructions.
Kids will love to watch the Shippon suck up water as the seeds grow.
